We have been in the sweet selling and distribution business for many years operating from our thriving shop in the busy village of Shildon, County Durham. We sell old-school, old-fashioned, retro sweets and chocolate that are popular with kids of all ages! 1Buy1 Pencils was set up to provide artists, graphic designers and crafters alike with the opportunity to purchase the colours they need individually, without the expense of buying an entire box set.
As a coloured pencil artist myself, I found it impossible to purchase just the colours I needed, when I needed them, and on several occasions had to purchase entire box sets just to get the few colours I desired. This was becoming increasingly difficult with discontinued lines, such as the Karisma range, by Berol.
I quickly found that I wasn't alone in wanting individual fine art pencils, and quickly established a good reputation and large client base through my ebay store. I started 1buy1pencils on my own and I run it on my own, I hope that the fact that 1buy1 pencils is a small business helps to make your shopping experience a better one, with a personal touch.
1Buy1 Pencils holds the largest range of Prismacolor pencils in the UK, and I am more than happy to ship anywhere in the world. Karismacolor pencils are discontinued but I will continue searching and sourcing these for you until supplies run dry.

As you may or may not know eBay has put the prices of having a shop up by a huge amount. Many small traders are being pushed out and many, like myself, have started up their own online shops.
These sellers are fantastic, they offer great products and services and eBay gave them the platform to reach a large market place. As they are being pushed out many have found that getting traffic to their website is hard and many of these great little shops could be lost forever.
I have started this blog to give the small, independent online shop owner a platform to promote their business free of charge and as a place where customers who like to support this type of friendly non-corporate business a place to find them all under one roof.
Don't lose these wonderful shops from the Internet market place, it would be a real shame.
